My team and I are based in Lowestoft and are here to help with any aspect of Property Owners Insurance. We offer market leading rates for Buildings Insurance with prices starting from 75p per £1,000 of the property rebuild cost (subject to tenant type & underwriters criteria). A summary of the cover available is listed below:

  • £5m Property Owner Liability to cover you in the event of your tenant having an accident which they feel is as a result of your negligence as a Landlord and they decide to sue you.
  • £10m Employers Liability to cover same for domestic employees that enter the premises or grounds.
  • Alternative accommodation to re-home your tenants in the event of a total loss claim. As a Landlord you have an obligation to house your tenants should you have a total loss claim, and this policy gives you peace of mind to cover these costs should they be incurred.
  • Subsidence excess at only £1000 for claims of this nature.

I would also suggest the Home Emergency Policy designed specifically for Let properties:

  • 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days a year.
  • One phone number for your tenants to call – Claims line then contact one of their approved contractors depending on the incident.
  • Will cover boiler breakdown.
  • Covers call out charge, labour to maximum of 2 hours, parts and materials to £100.
  • Alternative accommodation given to your tenants should it be needed.
  • No limit to the number of claims per year.
  • Covers lost keys / replacement locks etc.
  • Will not cover wear and tear incidents.
  • Excess is just £50.

We also offer a product to help you cover the cost of your monthly mortgage payments should your tenant default on their rent:

  • Will pay you the monthly rent in the event your tenant stops paying
  • Covers Legal costs up to £50,000 for eviction / recovery of costs etc
  • Excess is one months rent
